Services
Four services lines, each designed for moments when the cost of getting it wrong is high. We engage where senior judgment, structured execution, and operator-level understanding are required — and where conventional approaches aren't enough.
Enterprise Risk & Revenue Protection
Leadership senses risk but can't see clearly where revenue is exposed until problems escalate. Different teams report different versions of reality. Decisions are reactive and made under pressure.
Sentinel works with executives to surface the risks that matter — execution, delivery, and account risks that threaten revenue, renewals, and strategic outcomes — and translate them into decisions leaders can act on. We bring early visibility, not lagging dashboards. Our work focuses on consolidating risk signals, tying them to business outcomes, and giving executives the clarity needed to protect revenue before damage occurs.
Typical Engagements
Enterprise risk diagnostics for executive teams
Revenue exposure assessments tied to renewals, churn, and strategic accounts
Risk governance and decision-rights frameworks
Executive briefings with prioritized action paths
Critical Account Recovery & Retention
A strategic customer is unhappy. Escalations are increasing. Internal teams are misaligned. Communication with the customer feels defensive and uncoordinated. Renewal is at risk and the path forward isn't clear.
Sentinel steps into these moments to lead structured recovery. We align internal stakeholders, reset expectations with the client, and execute a recovery plan that restores confidence and protects long-term revenue. Our work is informed by years of leading high-stakes critical account programs — including current oversight of more than $85 million in annual recurring revenue with a 100% retention rate among accounts enrolled in formal recovery.
Typical Engagements
Critical account recovery for accounts at imminent renewal risk
Customer escalation leadership and stakeholder alignment
Recovery roadmaps with measurable retention milestones
Pre-renewal stabilization for top-revenue accounts
Portfolio & Program Operating Model Design
Too many initiatives compete for attention. Priorities shift constantly. Reporting is inconsistent. Teams react more than they deliver. At scale, execution feels chaotic and leaders struggle to see what really matters.
Sentinel designs the governance, prioritization, and reporting structures organizations need to manage complex portfolios with discipline. We build the operating model — how work is approved, tracked, escalated, and measured — and embed it through executive routines and decision frameworks. The result is fewer competing priorities, clearer ownership, and execution that aligns to business outcomes.
Typical Engagements
Portfolio operating model design for PMOs and program offices
Governance and decision-rights frameworks for cross-functional initiatives
Executive reporting standards tied to business outcomes
Implementation of intake, prioritization, and escalation processes
Executive Escalation & Transformation Leadership
High-stakes initiatives trigger frequent escalations, emotional decision-making, and political tension. Leaders receive conflicting information and struggle to align around next steps. Momentum slows when decisive action is needed most.
Sentinel provides calm, senior leadership through these inflection points. We bring structure to ambiguous situations, give executives clear options with explicit trade-offs, and drive disciplined execution under pressure. Our experience leading multi-hundred-million-dollar enterprise programs and high-visibility transformations means we understand how these moments actually play out — and how to bring them to a stable, successful close.
Typical Engagements
Executive-level transformation leadership during high-stakes initiatives
Escalation management for cross-functional programs in distress
Interim leadership in moments of organizational pressure
C-suite advisory during major change events
How We Engage
Every Sentinel engagement begins with a paid diagnostic — a 2-3 week discovery phase that produces a written findings memo and an executive readout. The diagnostic typically runs $15,000-$25,000 and credits toward the full engagement if the client proceeds within 60 days.
From the diagnostic, we recommend the right path forward — fixed-fee project, monthly retainer, or fractional executive leadership — based on the scope and pace required. All engagements are governed by a signed Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work.
